Dr. Doug Clepper practices general dentistry and has a special interest in implant dentistry and cosmetic dentistry. Implant dentistry is used along with conventional crown and bridge dentistry, so Douglas P. Clepper, DMD started placing dental implants in the late 70s because he was already doing complex crown and bridge cases and cosmetic cases.

In addition to lecturing about dental implants to dental groups and meetings around the country, Dr. Douglas P. Clepper teaches part-time in the General Practice Residency Program of the Medical College of Georgia, School of Dentistry. He also serves as co-director of the GRU Implant MaxiCourse.

Dr. Doug Clepper attended high school in Atlanta, GA and graduated from Mercer University. He graduated from the Medical College of Georgia, School of Dentistry. Douglas P. Clepper, DMD has earned the Fellowship and Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Oral Implantology and is a Fellow in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. DENTISTRY TODAY magazine has selected Dr. Clepper as one of the “Top Clinicians in Continuing Education” for the past several years. Douglas P. Clepper, DMD and his wife, Deanna, enjoy spending time with their young grandchildren and both enjoy playing golf and visits to Fripp Island, South Carolina. The Cleppers have an a daughter in Augusta and a son that practices dentistry with Dr. Douglas P. Clepper at West Augusta Dental Associates.
