Dr. Antoine Chehade received his training at McGill University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Physiology in 1986 and a degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1990. Following a dental residency at the Royal Victoria Hospital in 1991, he pursued his specialty training in oral and maxillofacial surgery with a Master of Science obtained in 1995.
For over ten years, Doctor Chehade was the Dental Surgeon-in-Chief of the McGill University Health Centre, overseeing operations at the Royal Victoria, Montreal General and Montreal Children’s Hospital departments of dentistry. He continues to be an Associate Professor who is actively involved in teaching in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery division at McGill University.
Doctor Chehade is a fellow and examiner for the Royal College of Dentist Of Canada. His many professional affiliations include the Québec (ASCBMFQ), Canadian (CAOMS) and American (AAOMS) associations of specialists in oral and maxillofacial surgery. In addition, Dr. Antoine Chehade is a fellow of the International Team for Oral Implantology (ITI), a world-wide network of professionals dedicated to the promotion and dissemination of knowledge in implant dentistry.
Doctor Chehade has served numerous terms on the executive of the Québec Association of Oral and Maxillofacial surgeons and is currently serving as Secretary on the Executive Team of the Canadian Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
