Dr. Miller is a general dentist in Hillsboro who has been in private practice since 1981. Dentistry is his passion, and he loves delivering high-quality long-term care to his patients. His practice includes conscious IV sedation, connective tissue grafting, implants, bone grafting, and cosmetic dentistry and full mouth rehabilitation. He graduated from OSU in 1974, OHSU in 1979 and worked for the Washington County Department of Public Health for two years, prior to opening his own practice.

Dr. Miller has a lifelong commitment to continuing education and believes that to be one of the most important aspects of being able to provide excellent care to his patients. He joined the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) in 1981, achieved his Fellowship in 1989 and his Master in 2005, he is currently being considered for the Life Long Learning and Service Recognition. He has been a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID) since 2008 and received his Associate Fellowship in October 2011. Dr Miller received his Diplomate Certification from the American Board of Oral Implantology / Implant Dentistry in 2014. He has recently been awared his Fellowship with the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
At present, he teaches Connective tissue grafting at OHSU’s Continuing Dental Education Department, and assists teaching the Oregon AAID’s Implant Maxi Course. He enjoys sharing his knowledge and learning with and from other dentists. He was President of the Academy of Cosmetic and Adhesive Dentistry 1991-1992, and a Board Member for the Washington County Dental Aid for Children 1981-1987.
Dr. Miller is married to Laurie M. Hesla, DMD, FAGD, retired from private practice, and they have two grown daughters.
