Dr. Wu graduated from the University Of Toronto School Of Dentistry in 1992 and completed his specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Boston University School of Dental Medicine in 1997. He is Board Certified in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in both the US and Canada. His commitment to excellence in patient care has also led to his board certification with the American Board of Oral Implantology and membership with the oldest dental implant organization, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID). He is the first full Graduate and Recognized Specialist in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery with the nationally and internationally recognized Kois Center for Advancing Dentistry through Science. He is now the Scientific Advisor in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery for the Kois Center.

Dr. Wu performs a broad scope of treatment within his specialty and has a particular interest in complex dental implant treatment including bone grafting and Same Day Teeth, restoring patients to improved function and esthetics. Since 1998, Dr. Wu has placed close to 4,000 dental implants working with multiple restorative dentists in the Merrimack Valley and the Greater Boston area. Dr. Wu was the surgical specialist on the team that completed the first Smile Today DIEM2® full arch prosthesis in the Merrimack Valley made of the innovative Zirkonzahn® zirconia material that is custom colored to achieve an esthetic result similar to porcelain yet having the lasting strength of a metal. In addition to his private practice, Dr. Wu maintains a teaching position at Boston University as a Clinical Assistant Professor and staff surgeon at Boston Medical Center, instructing future members of his profession.

The Merrimack Valley has been home to Dr. Wu, his wife and three children since 1993. Their desire is to be an integral part of the community, their church and local charities.
