Dr. Martone grew up in Westfield, Massachusetts and graduated from St. Mary’s High School. She then attended and graduated from Marquette University, College of Liberal Arts with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Marquette University, School of Dentistry , and then completed a residency in Oral Medicine/Oral Surgery at Western Massachusetts Hospital, Westfield, Massachusetts. She completed implant training at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia and later, trained at the same institution and became certified in intravenous sedation. This specialized training allows her to treat and meet the needs of medically compromised patients with advanced restorative and surgical problems. Dr. Martone is board- certified in Implant Dentistry and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Implantology/Implant Dentistry., a distinction which she alone holds in the Westfield area.
Dr. Martone is a Life member of The American Dental Association, a 27 year member of the Massachusetts Dental Society and an active member of the Georgia Dental Association. She is an Emeritus member of the Academy of General Dentistry, having received the honor of Fellow (1984) Master (1995) and Life Long Service Recognition (2006 and 2012).
Dr. Martone is a member of the surgical staff of Baystate Noble Hospital, here in Westfield. She has held this position for over 30 years and is presently Chief of the dental service. She covers the emergency room several months each year.

Dr. Martone has pioneered the placement of dental implants in the Springfield area, having provided this treatment to her patients for over 30 years. She is an Assistant Clinical Professor at Augusta University, Dental College of Georgia, in the General Practice Residency program. She has held this position for the past eigtheen years and continues to teach Residents. Her special interests revolve around implant surgery, bone grafting, I.V. sedation and hospital dentistry.
Dr. Martone was recently honored by her Residents and fellow Faculty at the Augusta University, Dental College of Georgia, by having the Residents office dedicated to her and named in her honor.
Dr. Martone was awarded the honor of DIPLOMATE by the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry, making her the only dentist in the Westfield area who is a specialist in Implant Dental surgery and restoration.
Most recently, Dr. Martone was awarded Fellowship in the America Academy of Implant Dentistry and the American College of Dentists.
